1. Who we are
Passin.io and the services it provides are operated by Noptcha, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (United States) ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of our platform services (Authentication, Payments API, and future data services) and any products we operate. Each product may add its own terms; where they differ, the product's terms apply to that product.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can close your account at any time by emailing contact@passin.io.
3. Platform services
Authentication and Payments are billed monthly based on usage; prices are listed at passin.io/pricing. We may change prices for future billing periods with 30 days' notice. With Payments you connect your own merchant accounts: you are the merchant of record for your sales, and the payment providers' terms apply between you and them. Database and Cache are not available yet; joining the waitlist only means we may email you when they launch.
4. Product purchases
Products we operate may sell prepaid credits or service plans as one-time payments. Prices are shown before checkout. Unused credits can be refunded within 7 days (see our refund policy).
5. Acceptable use
Your use must follow our acceptable use policy. We may suspend accounts that break it.
6. Changes and availability
We improve continuously and may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service, we refund unused prepaid amounts.
7. API clients and data
You own the data you put into our services. We do not claim any rights to it. If you use our Authentication API, your users' account data (email, password hash, profile) is stored in our systems as long as their account exists; when you delete a user via API or they delete their own account, we erase it. Payment transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. You may export your data at any time; contact contact@passin.io.
8. Liability
The services are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States federal law. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
